- Best-Before is seen for the first time in the game in a flash back beautiful memory that your character has while talking to Out-Of-Date during the Bunker 101 quest.
- Best-Before is the caretaker of the Tree of Life and takes the responsability of helping the potato people or the Nono become one with the tree to make it grow.
- By how Best-Before and Out-Of-Date speak about their duty and their connection with you and your past, it is understood that Best-Before seems to be the younger version of Out-Of-Date.
