Stats in Biomutant refer to the different attributes and numerical values that contribute to the Protagonist's strengths and capabilities. Stats govern everything from damage dealt, damage mitigation, amount of health and even chances of obtaining rare loot. Stats are tied to the Character Creation system, allowing the player to customize their starting Attributes based on their preferred playstyle and can be further modified by using various Equipment or acquiring certain Abilities.
- Stats are comprised of the primary Attributes: Vitality, Strength, Intellect, Charisma, Agility and Luck. Each Attribute also governs one or more of the secondary Stats such as Health, Melee Damage and Movement Speed. In most cases, improving a primary Attribute will also improve secondary stats.
- Unique to Biomutant are physically visible alterations to the Protagonist's appearance granted by modifying their stats. For example, a character with high Strength may appear to have much larger, more muscular arms while a large amount of points in Intelligence could result in a massive, disproportionate head.
