Weapons are a type of Equipment in Biomutant. Weapons are equipped by the player character and are used to deal damage to hostile creatures and characters. Weapons are divided into Melee Weapons for close combat and Ranged Weapons for dealing damage from a distance. Melee weapons are further divided into Slash and Crush categories, while ranged weapons fall under the Guns, Rifles, Automatic Rifles, and Shotguns categories. Weapons can be acquired in a variety of ways; as loot from chests and containers, quest rewards, enemy drops or created via Crafting.
How to get Weapons?
Weapons can be obtained as loot from chests, containers, or enemies. You can also Craft and modify Weapons in the Crafting Menu, where you can add Weapon Mods or change them to create the one that best suits your playstyle.

Each Weapon and Weapon Add-On in Biomutant have 3 qualifiers that define them: Rarity, Quality, and Material. Rarity is defined by the sum of the quality of the equipment and the add-ons you assigned to them. Therefore, as the quality and materials of any piece of equipment increases, its rarity will also be improved. There are 6 rarity levels:
Common ♦ Uncommon ♦ Rare ♦ Legendary ♦ Relic ♦ Ultimate
Certain Weapons grant you Special Abilities. These abilities are passive and will have a big impact on your combat capabilities. The Abilities that a Weapon can have are random, but depend on wheter they are Melee Weapons or Ranged Weapons
In addition to normal reload after you run out of ammo, you can also perform a Quick Reload by pressing the Reload Button when the ammo indicator is red, so reload will occur faster, and the damage of the next next bullet will be increased.
