Wung-Fu in Biomutant are Combat Techniques or Abilities inspired by real-world martial arts that improve the Protagonist's combat capabilities. Melee and Ranged Weapon has their own set of Wung-Fu moves, as well as a Super Wung-Fu technique that can be activated after filling a gauge by landing consecutive combos. Additionally, Tribe Weapons have their own Wung-Fu abilities.
How Unlock Special Attacks
To unlock your first Special Attack you need to Select Close Combat or Ranged Combat. Then, select the weapon type you want to unlock your first Special Attack for and spend Upgrade Points.
How to use it
Possible Special Attacks are prompted in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. Pressing the indicated input while it is shown will trigger your Special Attack.
Remember that you need to equip the correct Weapon Type in order to use each type of Wung-Fu. Once you've unlocked more attacks, you'll be able to combine them to reach the Super Wung-Fu state.
Upgrade Points and Leveling Up
You'll earn 1 upgrade point when you level up. Upgrade points can be used to acquire new Special Attacks and Perks. Defeating enemies and completing Quests will give grant you XP.
Leveling up allows you to raise one of your attributes by 10. Press: TAB / /
(Menu Button) to enter the menu and level up your character.
Wung-Fu Techniques in Biomutant
There are two pillars of Wung-Fu: the core martial arts you start with and the weapon mastery techniques (Special Attacks) that you unlock with upgrade points gained from levelling up.
Close Combat
You can use any type of melee weapon, but you need to learn and unlock special attacks for a weapon type in order to be able to use it to activate the Super Wung-Fu state
