Bosses in Biomutant refer to special Enemies that are a distinctly more powerful than their regular counterparts. Bosses are often larger, tougher and possess special abilities that present a much bigger challenge to overcome. Defeating some bosses are required in order to progress the story and main campaign, while others are optional challenges for the daring. There are also a handful of World Eaters, which are colossal Boss-type enemies that feast on the roots of the Tree of Life and are directly tied to the main story.
