Mods are a type of Equipment in Biomutant. Mods supplement Weapons and Armor by providing an extra source of stat bonuses such as damage boosts and protection against damage, status effects, among other things. How to get Gear Bits in Biomutant?

Gear Bits can be obtained from looting Enemies. looting Chest and Containers scattered throughout the world or purchased from Gear Wear Broker.  Keep in mind that increasing your Loot Chance attribute will make you more likely to find higher Rarity Mods

 

Gear Bits Quality

Each Mod in Biomutant has 3 qualifiers that define it: Rarity, Quality, and Material. Rarity is defined by the sum of the quality of the equipment and the add-ons you assigned to them. Therefore, as the quality and materials of any Mod increases, its rarity will also be improved. Rarities can be:

      It's important to note that if you put an addon with resists into an armor piece, it may remove all the resists from that piece. Be aware and be careful, always use disassemble when you notice this issue. Never use modify to remove the addon, it will brick the item.
