Gear Bits are a type of Mod in Biomutant. Gear Bits can be attached to most pieces of Armor to improve your character defense and resistances. Gear Bits can be obtained in a variety of ways; as loot from chests and containers, quest rewards, enemy drops, or purchased from Merchants.

How to get Gear Bits in Biomutant?

Gear Bits can be obtained from looting Enemies. looting Chest and Containers scattered throughout the world or purchased from Gear Wear Broker.  Keep in mind that increasing your Loot Chance attribute will make you more likely to find higher Rarity Mods

 

Gear Bits Quality

Each Mod in Biomutant has 3 qualifiers that define it: Rarity, Quality, and Material. Rarity is defined by the sum of the quality of the equipment and the add-ons you assigned to them. Therefore, as the quality and materials of any Mod increases, its rarity will also be improved. Rarities can be:
