Weapon Special Abilities in Biomutant refers to the skills that you can obtain by using certain Weapons. These abilities can increase your Weapon Damage, allow you to fire auto-tracking bullets, improve your Weapon Ammo and more.
Weapon Special Abilities are divided between Melee Special Abilties and Ranged Special Abilities depending on the base type weapon. If your Weapon features a Special Ability, you will find it in a box in the lower right corner, below the Weapon Stats.

This is missing the Ranged weapon ability that makes shots bounce. I can't remember the name, or I'd add it - I actually came to this page to remind myself what it was.
