A Recall is a Main Quest in Biomutant. A Recall is required to complete the main story of the game and is obtained as follows: By finding the Mirage. After completing it, you'll be rewarded with: Automaton Turret.
One more, the mirage has taken you back and you must find, fight, and puzle your way out of the depths of memory.

A Recall Walkthrough
The Mirage may appear in random isolated locations standing and looking at you mysteriously. When you interact with him, you will be transported to a playable memory flashback where you must fight against a Disciple. After the fight ends, whether you won or lost against your rival, you will be granted an Automaton upgrade.
